Hey folks… I just bought a 2017 Chevy 3500 with a factory-installed fifth-wheel/gooseneck prep. The factory receiver for the gooseneck ball is circular, but the B&W fifth-wheel hitch I have is square. I don’t want to sell either the prep or the hitch if I can avoid it. Does anyone know if there’s an adapter available that could help? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I’ve attached a pic for your attention.
I think there are adapters out there for that. Have you checked with B&W directly?

Good idea! I’ll reach out to them and see what they say.
I had a similar issue with my truck. I ended up making my own adapter. It worked out pretty well!

Nice, that’s impressive! What materials did you use?

Yeah, I’m curious too. DIY sounds like a solid option if you’re handy.
I’ve seen some universal adapters online, but just make sure it fits properly. Safety first!

For sure! I’d hate to risk anything just to save a few bucks.
If you can’t find an adapter, maybe consider swapping the hitch for another that fits the prep?

That might be a hassle, but it could work out better in the long run.
I hope you find something that works! Those hitches can be tricky sometimes.
