My Cruze is my favorite vehicle. I think they’re gorgeous, and driving one was enjoyable, but if you’re set on getting one, get a second generation. 2016 and forward, I think. Much less issues. I purchased a 2014 Gen 1 in June of last year. It blew the head gasket last week, so I’m now trying to figure out how I’m going to get a replacement engine. To those who are unfamiliar with engines, let me just say that one of the worst things that can happen to an automobile is a blown head gasket. Most of the time, replacing the engine is less expensive than having it fixed.
