Brembo brakes and eWPI... anyone have clarity?

Hey guys, quick question! Will the Brembo performance brakes kit from Chevy Performance work with the electronic wear pad indicators (eWPI) on the 2024 Suburban High Country 6.2 V8? I saw Chevy says it’s fully integrated, but I’ve heard mixed stuff about compatibility. How can it be a ‘fully integrated upgrade’ if it doesn’t sync with the vehicle’s systems? Any insights would be super helpful!

I’ve been wondering the same thing! I thought if Chevy’s selling it, it should work, right? :thinking:

Yeah, you’d think so. But I’ve seen forums where people say it doesn’t connect properly. Kinda frustrating.

@Jesse
Wait, what’s eWPI? I’m not familiar with that term.

Honestly, I’d check with a local dealer. Sometimes they have the scoop on these things. :man_shrugging:

That’s a good idea! I might do that. I just want to make sure everything works smoothly.

I thought the same about the integration. If it’s a Chevy product, it should totally fit, right?

Maybe it’s just marketing talk? :sweat_smile: Seems like a lot of these upgrades aren’t what they claim.

True! It’s tough to know what to believe with all the hype out there.

If anyone figures it out, please share! I’m thinking of getting those brakes too.

Definitely! I’ll keep an eye on this thread. Hopefully, we get some clarity soon!
