I just bought a brand new 2025 Equinox Activ on the 21st, and after a cold week, my check engine light came on this past Saturday. I took it to the dealership, but they couldn’t find anything wrong. They mentioned it might be a sensor and reset it, but the light returned today. I’m taking it back in the morning. Has anyone experienced anything similar to the new Equinox? Any thoughts on what might be going on?
We need to know what the code is/was to even make a guess! That would help a lot.

Check engine lights can be triggered by so many things. Hopefully, it’s just a minor sensor issue. Good luck at the dealership!
It could be something simple like a loose gas cap. Have them check that too!
