How much to fix this dent?

Had a little parking lot mishap today with my 2016 Impala Limited. I ended up scratching the car next to me while backing out, though the damage wasn’t too bad. I’m not too worried about fixing the paint, but I did notice the upper fender got pushed in slightly near the front light. Also, the headlight seems to be bulging out a bit. I’m thinking of fixing that. Any idea what it might cost to get this done, or if it’s something I could try handling myself?

Given the car is nine years old, I’d suggest just touching up the paint where it scratched through to the metal. It might not be worth going through all the effort of a full repair.

Looks like your tires might be nine years old too, lol.

If you’re looking for a quick fix, you can try taking a hammer and carefully tapping the dent out a bit. Just make sure to unscrew the headlight first, then put it back once you’ve straightened things out. Shouldn’t cost anything if you do it yourself.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I’ll give it a try and see how it goes.

I’ve also seen people use nail polish for minor scratches. Might work for touching up the paint if you’re not looking to get a full repair done.

Honestly, the scratch stands out more than the dent. Might not be too bad if you leave the dent as is.
