I noticed the black plastic part on the back of my bumper had fallen off. I’m wondering if it’s still safe to drive around with it missing. I live in Canada where winter can get pretty harsh, so I’m not sure if that matters here.
Looks like the front part came off…

Yeah, that’s definitely not something you see often.

No cardboard pieces involved, I hope.
You might lose a tiny bit of gas efficiency at highway speeds, but I don’t think it’ll be a big deal.
For some added info, I live in Canada, and winters can get really bad here. Would that make a difference in this case?

A little extra drag will burn a bit more gas, but probably not too much. You could always measure how far you get on a tank to see if it changes.
@Nuri
You can check junkyards or maybe Rock Auto for a replacement piece.
@Nuri
Don’t be intimidated by junkyards. Search for ‘pick a part’ or junkyard in your area. They often show their inventory online too.
It’ll make the car a bit less aerodynamic, but you should be fine.
Nah, you’ll be fine… or maybe you won’t, who knows

Let’s hope I don’t die over this!

Haha, no worries. Realistically, you’re fine. The only risk is if you hit something, you might cause more damage since the piece won’t be there to absorb the impact.
It’s probably not a great idea to drive without that piece. It might not protect much in a crash.
I drive the same car, and the exact same piece broke off on mine!
Nah, your car is definitely going to implode without that part…

It already did

Good to know you’ve got a sense of humor about it! Seriously though, without that piece, if you get into an accident, there’s a chance you’ll cause more damage to the frame.
At least your brakes are going to stay cool with all that extra airflow
Wait, are we talking about half of the bumper missing, or just the splash guard?
