There are several grade levels of aftermarket parts available; some are practically the same as mine, while some are superior, but the majority will be of poorer quality. In my opinion, the most significant advantage of OEM is that you are far more likely to receive a part that will fit perfectly and function properly. I don’t have much free time, so the time saves are definitely worth the additional expense to me.
