Hey all, I recently bought a '22 Chevy Blazer and have loved it except for one feature. Every time I unlock the vehicle, it beeps twice loudly. This isn’t necessarily the end of the world, but I live in a very crowded area and frequently leave for work while everyone is still sleeping. In the vehicle settings, I can turn the beeping on/off when locking, but for unlocking, I only have the option for the lights, not for the beeping. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any advice? I have never owned a car that beeps when being unlocked—only when being locked—and it’s even more strange that I can customize the beeping on ‘remote lock’ but not ‘remote unlock.’ There’s also no option for ‘passive/keyless unlock.’ Thanks for the help!
I had the same issue with my Blazer! It’s definitely annoying in quiet neighborhoods. Have you checked the manual? Sometimes there are hidden settings.

I haven’t looked at the manual yet. I’ll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion!
You could try reaching out to your dealer. They might have a way to reset the settings or provide some advice.

That’s a good idea! I’ll call them and see if they can help.
I’ve read that some cars have a way to disable the unlock beep through a specific sequence with the key fob. Maybe look into that.

Interesting! I’ll search for that info. Thanks!
If all else fails, you could always just use the key to unlock it quietly. Not the best solution, but it works in a pinch.

True, I might have to do that until I find a better fix. Thanks for the tip!
I feel you! Some features are just unnecessary. Hopefully, you find a solution soon!
