This has been happening a lot with the Trax, and dealerships are scratching their heads when asked to repair it. Software updates do not fix it, and replacements appear to be just as prone to this problem. In terms of what you can do before replacing the hardware, Iβd recommend unplugging the battery at the negative terminal for 10 seconds before reconnecting it. I doubt that will help you much, although it could be more hardware-related than electrical.
The trouble with doing the battery thing is that itβs quite erratic. Like, I snapped that picture, and 30 seconds later, itβs back to working. The first problem I encountered was that it went completely black for almost 30 minutes. It it started flashing the screen this week. The black screen originally appeared three weeks ago.
