I have a 2008 Suburban, and I’ve noticed that when I put the right turn signal on, the high beams turn on as well. It’s really annoying. Does anyone have a fix for this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
That sounds like a wiring issue. Have you checked the connections for the turn signal?

What kind of connections should I be looking at?

Check the connectors at the steering column. Sometimes they can get loose or corroded.
Could also be a problem with the multi-function switch. If that’s faulty, it might cause weird behavior like that.

How hard is it to replace that switch?

It can be a bit tricky, but definitely doable if you have some basic tools.
I had a similar issue with my truck. Turned out to be a ground wire problem. Might want to check that too.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into the ground wires as well.
You can also try resetting the battery. Sometimes that helps clear up electrical issues.

I’ll give that a shot. Can’t hurt to try, right?
Good luck! Hopefully, you can get it fixed without too much hassle.
