I really like the old man caps. They’re super convenient for carrying things!
If you use the shell, go for it; if not, then no shell! 
Your truck looks great, in my opinion. As for me, I don’t have one—so mine isn’t looking good, lol
I like the shell, but only if it has a purpose for my truck. Personally, I didn’t like having the dogs in the cab, and having dry storage while camping is invaluable for us. I choose to ignore 5th wheels that I know we would enjoy because I appreciate the benefits of the shell for camping. Another perk is that people don’t ask me to move their stuff🙃
